Frieda is on her way to see her good friend, the Dean. Everyone calls him the ‘Merciful Pastor’. Frieda is a religious education teacher and, moreover, a truly selfless soul. And her true mission – which also connects her to the Merciful Pastor – is her self-sacrificing aid to all the poor, the refugees, the underprivileged, the sick, and, of course, to all those who have strayed from the Right Path. No, she has never strayed with the Merciful Pastor into the realm of the carnal! Their mission is far too sacred for both of them! And it pains them both immensely when they hear, yet again, of fellow believers who have lost their steadfastness in the face of evil. They, however, know what their help means to all those who have strayed from the Right Path, or who have not even heard of it. Indeed, most of the refugees would certainly be lost without their selfless help! And by helping them first and foremost in worldly matters, many are also drawn to the Right Path, which the two of them exemplify so brilliantly. Now she would soon be with him; the next street on the left …
... she can hardly believe that, whilst she was devotedly lost in her pious thoughts, she has once again taken the wrong turn…
